I’m sorry, I can’t agree with this either.  Out of sight, out of mind.  If I were to decide to commit a crime and see a guy a fifty yards away carrying, I may think twice.  If I don’t see it and commit the crime, he may or may not even see or be aware I committed a crime.  I understand some people seem “in shock” when they see a civilian carrying.  But y’all need to get over it.  You’re okay with them carrying, but you don’t want to see it?   C’mon.  I’m not advocating people walking around with AR’s  or anything.  That’s a bit overboard.  And let’s not pretend only right wing Trumpers are carrying them.  I do remember seeing pics of the black panthers in fatigues and ars outside polling booths in philly in ‘16.
