Quote:Fixed, but still, Rice should take some suspension time for this, no doubt. I agree with the fact that breaking a known rule repeatedly is incredibly stupid. My issue has more to do with our society's double standard when it comes to punishing people for drugs versus the penalty for committing other crimes. Poor guy from the city gets busted with a marble sized cracked rock and he goes to prison for 5 years. Famous person beats up his girlfriend / wife / neighbor and he has to pay a fine and do 10 hours of community service. Or white collar criminal fleeces people out of their life savings and they get an 18 month extended stay at a resort...err...prison. Now which person has done the most harm to his community? |
