It depends on the reason why they didn't win.  If they lose on some technicality, that doesn't really prove anything.  

I think the most interesting thing will be when they put people under oath in a deposition.  I think at that point, we'll see a lot of tap dancing and back pedaling.   It'll also be interesting to see if the defendants produce any actual evidence.  Because one defense to defamation is if they were telling the truth.  So we'll see if they try to defend themselves by claiming they were telling the truth, and if they produce any evidence that they were telling the truth.  


The important thing is, both sides will be on the record, under oath.  No more wild allegations in press conferences.
