Teddy Bridgewater is a legit 6'3 and 214, now hush.

Quote:LOL... you don't wait.  No one has suggested that but you.  You keep drafting until you know you have your franchise guy.  Trade up, acquire a FA, whatever you need to do.  To think "there won't be a QB available of Teddy's quality" is your mistake, and your fear.  I certainly don't share that sentiment.  That explains the difference in opinion whether you agree or not.

Listen to these Clownish answers.

1) You keep drafting til you get one.... Yes all those picks on developmental guys in the later rounds work out real well. I guess every once in a blue moon you get a Brady or Wilson. Every other moon its Cassel, Mallet or Hoyer. We're in position to get a good QB now, but you want to be cheap.

2) Trade up.....? You want to give up something to pick an unproven player? When was the last time the Patriots, Packers, Steelers, Ravens, Niners, Seahawks, Colts, etc etc traded up to get a QB?

3) Acquire a FA.......? Oh boy, like good QBs grow on trees. How many good QBs are going to be FAs this year. 30 something year old Vick? Maybe get Young or Jamarcus Russell off the street, you know for competition's sake. Oh what about Matt Flynn, Ponder or Cassel. Sure sounds like a bomb [BAD WORD REMOVED] plan.

Oh how could I forget the best answer of them all:

4) Wait for the second coming of Andrew Luck, the once in a generation player. Maybe that is ole Jameis, and his awful windup! Maybe, Maybe, Maybe.

--------------

Here is what you do!

There are 3 pretty damn good QBs at the top of this class, after that, GOOD LUCK. Bortles, Teddy, and Manziel will be good, solid starters, and maybe eventual probowlers. You can 1) get either one right now while you are in a good draft position to get one or 2) wait till next year where there will be even more uncertainty. I am sure it'll be the same old story. Great QB class in May and [BAD WORD REMOVED] by December. Always happens.
