I actually think one of the luxuries of drafting Teddy, say above a McCarron or Mettenberger, is that he DOES have those extra horses in the engine if he needs it. That escapability that he used quite a bit in college, and can get you 5 or 10 yards on a scramble. Listen, he certainly didn't have to run today, I'm just disapointed. Besides Manziel, Bridgewater was the one I was looking to truly surprise people with his speed. But as others in the thread have commented, it only adds to questions now. Does he not have it? Did the extra pounds gained for the combine slow him down? Or was he just doing something else today, and is still likely the 3rd or 4th fastest QB in this crop, who knows now.
I want 3 players. Clowney, Bridgewater, Manziel. Jaguars have the number 3 pick. Just give me one of those 3 at 3, and I'm happy.
