We arguably got one top 5 player at his position in FA, and maybe not even that. With the most money and the most needs. We needed to make 3-4 splashes and we made a couple of ripples.

To me free agency and draft talk are related.

I would have mixed feelings about Etienne at either 25 or 33.

I really like him as a player, and I'm old fashioned in that I have few, if any qualms about taking a qualified RB in the first round.  Watching video of Trevor Lawrence made me realize how often he checked down to Etienne.  IF Bevell will do what he can to help TLaw transition easier to the NFL, it wouldn't surprise me if Etienne is a consideration at either spot.

But our needs beyond RB are so big and so many, to me spending that high a pick on Etienne would be almost wasteful.
