I think the real value is getting a guy like Matthews in the 2nd versus a Sammy Watkins at 3 overall.
I also think waiting until the 4th or 5th round may be kind of missing the point of the how deep the draft class is. It has a lot of good 1st-2nd round talents... They will pretty much all be picked in the 1st and 2nd round.... Leaving guys that would have been 4th rounders in every other year exactly where they would be anyway. I don't think we're getting a 2nd round talent in the 4th round, that's my point. We might get a 1st round talent at the top of the 2nd, but that's about it. If anything, some other positions may slide a little bit because a dozen WRs may be drafted in the first two rounds.
