I think they'd cut Richardson before Shatley.

Not sure about the numbers for myriad reasons.  Some of the talk on NFL Network has been about the 17th game, and if they will adjust the roster sizes accordingly.  Will they have all 53 active on game day, or will they have rosters higher than 53?  Will they adjust the IR rules further?

Are the backups on the OL better players than the backups at other positions?  How important are the other positions in the schemes?  How were these roster allocations handled in SF under Baalke, with Bevell in Detroit and Seattle, and with Cullen in Baltimore?  What does Meyer have to say?

Too many unknowns at this point to give a good answer to your questions.

Richardson was drastically miscast by this team. He's a pure RT and they've tried to turn him into a swing Tackle and given Robinson's injuries he's spent most of his time on the left side where he has been overwhelmed. Swing Tackles need to be college Left Tackles. Few guys who have played their entire college career on the right side, can make the move to LT.
