I have no delusions that either of our offensive tackles are gonna magically become reliable starters, once we get a new QB. I've studied our O-Line more than any of our other positions and what I have seen over and over is that both Robinson and Taylor have slow feet and they are slow to get out of their stance. Speed rushers give them fits and they always have. Guys their size don't magically get quicker and the slow footwork is a big reason why they both fell to round 2 of the draft. At least Robinson is only on a 1 year deal, so when we see more of the same from him and Taylor in 2021, maybe the new coaching staff will get a clue and move on. My only concern is that the 2022 OT class may not be nearly as deep or talented as this one appears to be, but I have to accept what I cannot change. I don't have to be happy about it though.

Which makes me wonder why you are so down on Cosmi.

If nothing else, he has quick feet, but also has good size and length.  No, he isn't the best run blocker, but all things considered, I'd rather have a T who was strong in pass protection and weak in run blocking than the alternative.

I'm not down on Cosmi. I just have other OT's that I like more. I'd certainly take him over what we have now in Robinson, but I'd rather have Sewell, Slater, Darrisaw, Eichenberg, Jenkins or Brown. I just have Cosmi rated lower than some people, but this is a very top heavy and loaded class. Cosmi is still my #45 overall player, so I can't be too down on him. 

Now, if we are talking about Mayfield, I am not a fan. If we are talking RT, I believe Teven Jenkins is the standout guy, but Spencer Brown is someone that I like more and more every time I look back on his games. I see him as a superior RT who could possibly play LT, because he has such good footwork and functional strength. He is a unique blend of finesse and mauler.
