Of course everyone wants this, but the market may not provide. I would rather have say a 3rd and a 6th and the falcons pick, than just ours. If Caldwell decides he will take a 4th to swap with falcons, then I will be fine, I am sure talent will be there at the 6th, and that 4th can be parlayed into something better later. I also have confidence in Caldwell that he won't pull a 'Gene' and overdraft someone like crazy because the offer was only a 4th.

 

Caldwell might be able to trade down again and pick up more picks. Meaning that original 'only' a 4th could turn into more. I see the chart, and yeah I want more, but if the Falcons are the only ones who want to trade up, and Caldwell is confident he can get a great player 3 picks later, then he should trade. Remember that Baltimore looked like it lost the Harvey trade big time to us, but in reality they were much better even though we only gave them a 4th. I have no problem with our GM making a similar move as long as he knows what he is doing, and doesn't draft some 3rd round prospect in the 1st.
