That's liberalism in a nutshell ...  big talk, all emotions, produce nothing, no skills, quit, more big talk.

It's because kids like Hogg have never been told no, in their entire lives. Their parents give them anything they want and seemingly put them in a "protective shell" for most of their lives. The kids then have these big dreams about changing the world and think it will be easy, because their parents have moved any roadblocks in their way, essentially setting up their kids for failure, once they get into the real world. Once kids like this experience roadblocks that their parents can't move for them, they fold like a cheap lawn chair.
