The End of Tanking

One of the most promising things to me going forward is the end of the tanking mentality. From here on, we win as many games as we can win, even if it’s a rough season. We don’t need to root for losses, as we have our franchise quarterback. Nothing else is worth tanking for. Also, I fully anticipate we won’t be close to the bottom of the pack for quite a while. It’s a really great time to be a Jaguars fan. I see Lawrence being what Peyton Manning was for Indy and what Andrew Luck was for Indy. What Drew Brees was for New Orleans, what Dan Marino was for Miami, Kurt Warner for Arizona, etc. I can’t wait to get my Lawrence jersey! |
