If his last season represents development, what took him so long to become a dominant passer?  Was was missing from his game as a freshman and sophomore that he fixed over the course of his junior year?

What took Joe Burrow so long to progress? Who knows, the point is he did and become the #1 overall pick and was looking pretty good for a horrible Bengals team until he got demolished and injured. Wilson has the same type of college career. He started out slower, but made some improvements and finally, last season everything started to click. To me, as long as he finally gets it, who cares how he got here? The point is, he got to where he needed to be and he was throwing "dimes" all over the place. The only thing we should be looking at is the progression he made in his final season.

Burrow was behind a QB that was drafted in the first round.  Wilson was not.

Burrow wound up transferring to LSU and wound up getting with a great offensive coach with a lot os surrounding talent.

Wilson was in the same scheme under the same coach all three seasons.

As I said I think he can succeed if he gets help. 

But there are questions/concerns.
