Burrow was behind a QB that was drafted in the first round.  Wilson was not.

Burrow wound up transferring to LSU and wound up getting with a great offensive coach with a lot os surrounding talent.

Wilson was in the same scheme under the same coach all three seasons.

As I said I think he can succeed if he gets help. 

But there are questions/concerns.

When Burrow first went to LSU, I remember watching him and thinking how badly he sucked! Despite being surrounded by great coaching and extremely talented players, he only was completing 57.8% of his passes. He was missing passes right and left. I thought at best, he'd be a late round pick. Then he came back in 2019 and looked like a completely different QB. He seemed unstoppable. He couldn't miss. It was as close to a perfect season as I have ever seen. I didn't question how it happened or how bad he was the year before, I just saw the vast improvement he made in one season and went with it. The same goes for Zach Wilson. He looks like a completely different QB now, than he did from 2019. He looks way more comfortable in the pocket, his accuracy is pinpoint and he appears to be trusting the players around him to do their jobs. I also read that he really stepped up into the leadership role as well. I don't care about his past performances. I just see what he is now and imo, that is unquestionably, the #2 QB in this class by a mile.

If we don’t get a LT then we don’t. Bring a TE down and chip. Have a RB chip. Run screens. Run RPO. Cam is gonna have to buck up.

But for all of you guys that want QB LT TE, I hope we draft Lawrence, then trade up to number 5 and get Pitts, and then trade the rest of the draft capital away and draft the best LT available. And I hope we sign Forrest Lamp. Can’t forget about that guy.

Oh and then sign Alex Smith on as a coach so he can mentor all the QBs and pat them on the back when they throw an interception.

Who cares if we givin’ up 40 per. Long as we get QB LT TE Lamp and Smith.

I don't care if it's a LT or a RT, both completely suck! Taylor sucks worse than Robinson though. I just want one of these guys replaced. It doesn't matter which one.
