With Wilson, I see a lot of those very same traits. Maybe not to the extent of what Trevor shows, but they are very close. The one thing that Wilson has that makes be believe he might have a slightly higher upside is his ability to make throws out of nowhere that are jaw dropping. He'll throw the ball sidearm or across his body or under handed with unbelievable accuracy for a big gain and it will leave me shaking my head. He's fun to watch. It kinda reminds me of when I watched Brett Favre at his peak. Not that I'm really comparing them as players, but in this particular area, they are very similar. It's a rare ability. 

As I said, Trevor is the safer pick. His "bust rate" is much lower than Zach and that's why I would draft him over Wilson. Zach has the ability to be one of the best of all time, (not that Lawrence can't be the same type of player though, he certainly can.) It's just that one trait of Wilson (improvisation,) that intrigues me a lot. The one thing that will determine Wilson's ultimate success is his ability to handle being in New York though. That is so much more pressure than being the starting QB in Jacksonville. Coming from Utah and going to New York is like night and day. I know I couldn't handle it.

An added factor with the pressure associated with the Jets, is they have been seeking a Franchise QB, since Joe Namath reached the late stages of his pro football career.  That's around 45 seasons ago.  No Jets QB since Namath has been able get the team to the Super Bowl. None of their 1st Round QBs lived up to his draft billing. QBs of all different types didn't pan out the way the Jets envisioned for various reasons.
