Agreed completely.

To see him start before then would exceed all reasonable expectations under the circumstances.

Now if he DOES and performs up to it, I will be thrilled beyond measure.

But I think they bring him along slowly, and I think it'll take a bad game or two from one of the starters to bring him off the bench.

While I wouldn't have drafted him due to lack of recent game film on the guy, that does not mean I want him to fail. I hope he is a great player. I just don't know, because of a lack of information, but I want desperately for him to succeed. I just want him to be good. He doesn't have to be Tony Boselli, but if he can just be reliable, that would be a huge upgrade. If he beats either incumbent starter, I will be elated!

So that means he will probably be a starter by no later than week 3.
