He was friendly with him. Trump was friendly with a lot of people because that's how he made his business easier. He also cut him off after hearing some thing from staff at one of his properties. Supposedly he was banned from his properties and Trump cut any ties.

Doesn't matter, Trump was in the pictures.. That's enough for some folks..
