That's great and all, but his diet isn't going to stop a 270 pound DE from bull rushing him into the next century.

I know. That and route running will be his biggest challenge. He knows this. He’s giving it a shot. He’s solid muscle with extremely low body fat. The guy has been on a low inflammation diet for almost ten years now. No grains or sugar.  You can forget about soft tissue injuries. My experience in tennis was getting constant soft tissue injuries when I turned 55. Almost 70 now.....I don’t get them anymore. The diet makes a HUGE difference as you get older. But now many have the discipline to give up pizza, pasta, breads, sugar (including hidden sugar), etc. But he does. Like Meyer, he’s been chomping this return to football for a while. He is driven. I’m just saying.....don’t count him out. If he makes the team or not.....and I give it 50-50......this is going to be real interesting. He will surprise everyone who poo poos this out of hand.
