He told Sapp and Willie twice that he was good to go for the drills. Then once he didn't compete in the first two of them, word got around that his hip flexor flared up. However, if your hip flexor flared up after the 40, you sure as heck aren't jumping a 37.5 vert and a 10-4 broad as smooth as he did.


Then on the NFL Network set he told them, that he told the NFL front offices during the interviews that he was only doing the measureables at the Combine. Which is perfectly fine if that's what he told them, but why didn't he just say that from the very beginning? Why tell 2 other stories before coming out with that?


I also heard that he gave an ESPN interview where he said he just didn't feel like doing the field drills. That's just word of mouth, so I'll take that with a grain of salt, but the other stuff still stands.


He continues to make questions for himself that he could of ended from the very start.
