It'll be Clowney if the Jags are smart.

 

All this motivation bullcrap... You think Clowney hasn't been hearing it all year? A man doesn't just take that in stride and say "Oh well".

 

You know it'll be in the back of his head every time he puts his hand down. It may not look like it bothers him, but there's simply no way he's going to conform to the media's stereotype of him after how much "He's good, BUT..." comments he has received.

 

This perceived lack of work ethic is going to cost him millions if he isn't picked #1, which he absolutely would be if it weren't for said perception. Even if he is all about the money, you guys don't think Clowney won't realize he lost MILLIONS because of that?

 

Clowney would improve the defense just by being in the starting lineup. Andre Branch could record a sack every game for the entire season and coordinators will still have one eye on Clowney at all times.
