I think the post combine results showing Kouandjio's disastrous results, including supposedly a very bad physical, may change the analysis somewhat.

 

Of course we can't know for certain how the Rams had him evaluated, but the pro combine speculation/consensus was that Kouandjio seemed to be a mid first round talent at T, and would have been a good fit for the Rams with their second first round pick at 13 if they decided to go elsewhere at 2.

 

Now, the talk is that the Alabama tackle will slide down to the 2nd or 3rd round, and that he looked so bad in drills, some are saying he can't play tackle at all and will have to move inside to G.  Conversely, Auburn's Greg Robinson and Texas A&M's Jake Matthews had great and good combines, respectively.  Robinson's stock will likely soar, and some speculation has him, not Matthews, as the top T by May's draft.

 

Do you think that changes the analysis over what the Rams will do at #2, since there may not be a viable mid first round LT alternative for them?
