I think at the time I wanted to see them take a tackle, too, but in hindsight Jefferson clearly was a pick that could have had an impact.

All of that said, we have Trevor, now, so maybe Caldwell gave us a blessing in disguise by dropping one last deuce of a draft.

I should have clarified a bit.

Tackle with the 1st pick and then Jefferson with the 2nd 1st rounder. Could have had both.

But like someone else just mentioned, it all led us to Lawrence so I’m good.
