I would say that presently, 2020 appears worse than 2021. So long as TLaw is our starter for at least the next 5 seasons, I can't see how anyone can categorize 2020 as a better draft.

2020's biggest flaw especially at the top was that each pick looked more like an attempt to replace a player than to acquire the best talent/fit at the spot we picked. Henderson was Ramsey's replacement, and Chaisson probably wouldn't have been the pick if Ngakoue never voiced his displeasure with the team. The switch to 3-4 may help him the most, but that pick in particular set the mood for that draft's evaluation. I think we got some decent depth players in that draft, though, so if we split early and late picks, I would give 2020 the edge on the later choices.

In time, though, that too may shift to 2021's favor.
