I don't even know why that matters though, Taylor was an elite talent and everyone knows it. Brunell's talent was nothing special and has mediocre numbers. You love to bring his 96 season but never say he had more INTs than TDs

Technically when Brunell retired he was ranked #37 in career TDs, and near other elite QBs like Jon Kitna and Chris Chandler. Laughing

When Fred Taylor retired he was #25 for rushing TDs and #15 in yards.

It's also with noting that Brunell played during an era when passing stats exploded. In 1995 his career TDs total would have made him top 25 all time. By the time he retired that total was only good for 37, and today he'd only be #58.

So in his own era he was a mid tier guy at best.
