The irony of it all is... those who think throwing at the combine didn't matter, Pro Day throwing matters even less. It's scripted, controlled, and a total layup. At least with throwing at the combine there was something to gain... standing out among peers face to face. There's absolutely nothing to gain on Pro Day. Even the Gabberts of the world nail those. It's only a chance to lose ground if it's not the ace it's expected to be. Again... having to ace it just to stay put.


The only things that can happen on Pro Days are gimmicky stuff. The one thing I think would be interesting is if Ted threw the entire day without his gloves. It takes stuff like that to stand out. Running in street shoes, doing drills out of position (for tweeners and athletes), etc., etc...
