In general, though, the left has moved to the left much faster than the right has moved to the right. Not only that, it's happened in monolithic form. The right has a wide spectrum, but those who self-identify with the left are more homogenous.
And I think people like, you, TRM, NYC, and Mikesez do consider yourselves to be more centrist, but you guys also neglect the role the media plays in shaping your world view. Because you guys give credibility to our established institutions, I think it makes you more susceptible to group think. |
