So if a casual fan is completely ambivalent about attending a game, why would he or she be exceptionally vigilant in seeking out avid football fans to attend?  Isn't it possible that their friends and family aren't particularly avid football fans either?  Why should their failure to distribute free tickets to avid football fans be held against Jacksonville?

 

The product on the field is quite relevant to ticket buying.

 

The person (who may not even be a casual fan) who received free tickets should be able to seek out someone who is willing to go to the football game who otherwise couldn't afford to attend. If they didnt show a lack of going, dont accept the tickets in the first place. 

 

This community needs to be held more accountable if we want to impress Khan on the viability of Professional football in Jacksonville. Fans cant throw a sissy fit and stop going to games because the Jags have had losing seasons the last 3-4 years. If we want to build a strong football tradition we need to be consistent in our commitment and not show passion during just the winning, but also the losing. Look at Cleveland, Detroit, etc, those cities have had losing seasons in the last 5-10 years with a crappy local economy they show up to games and dont make excuses.
