For those of you who have gone to practices, I have a question. What does Dawuane Smoot look like? I've read where he dropped weight and got faster. Last year, I swear he looked like he was playing between 285-290 lbs. He was huge. If he has lost weight and he is closer to the 265-270 lb. mark he was when we drafted him, why isn't he listed as an OLB? Instead, we have 287 lb. Jihad Ward playing OLB? He should be on the D-Line, IMO. You need speed at OLB and Ward ran a 5.11/40 at the Combine. Smoot ran a 4.77/40 at the Combine. That is a HUGE difference in speed.

That's all good and stuff, but that speech by Meyer? That put's a lot of pressure on players. If we win, crime goes down? So if we lose, people might get murdered? That may not be how he intended it, but it kinda sounded that way.
