More Democrats favor socialism over capitalism

But, to be fair, I definitely don't think most American democrats want this country to be socialist... but also I don't think most of them are smart enough to know what that means. I think they, like you, conflate social democracy with socialism.

However, I don't think this is true of the political elite that use the term. I don't think this is true of Bernie Sanders or the AOCs. I don't think this is true of the Patrice Cullors and radical progressives. I don't think this is true of the Young Turks or Justice Democrats. I don't think this is true for Nicole Hannah Jones and the many other activist journalists and editors. I don't' think this is true of the Robin D'Angelos and the critical pedagogy that wants to influence American children. I don't think it's true of the Derrick Bells, and Richard Delgados that championed critical race theory that is becoming a staple in our society. I could keep going, but I would be here all night. There are a slew of elites and influencers who are anti-capitalist, which is resulting in the masses following their lead. It starts by conflating ideas, and then one simply removes the alternative.

Here's a gallup poll from 2019. That says the same thing I am saying.

And yes, they say some of what  you are suggesting: that it's a nuanced position for many people. I get that and don't deny it. But the noteworthy part is that democrats view of capitalism is waning, while their view of socialism is growing. So, these aren't one-offs. It's a growing trend. Worse than in 1942, back before we knew how bad socialism was going to fail.

You want to pretend that it's all happenstance, but there is a legitimate, traceable effort by neo-marxist activists over the last 70 years to destabilize culture and overthrow the American system. This group is definitely in the minority, but they have almost total control of the narrative. I've explained this, in detail, many times. It would be easy for you to see this if you didn't have your head shoved so far up your own [BLEEP]. Luckily, you seem to like the smell of your [BLEEP].

Pick any one of these topics, and we can go toe to toe on it, but I'll anticipate the standard, "I'm not going to waste my time."
Every [BLEEP] time you’re called to task on your weak [BLEEP] [BLEEP] you do this stupid goalpost shift and deflect while backpedaling your prior flag on a hill hyperbolic stance.

[BLEEP] you

You aren’t worth a second of my time - you are a horrible debater
