You missed my point when I used Detroit and Cleveland as examples. People want to beach and moan about outsiders attacking our fan base when it comes to attendance. I mentioned those two cities because they have long deep established football traditions in their cities, so the attendance coupled with the losing gives them a slight pass.

Oh I know, keep supporting the team through ticket sales that demonstrates loyalty and a commitment to a devotion to the Jags. It's as simple as that.

This is what you said: Look at Cleveland, Detroit, etc, those cities have had losing seasons in the last 5-10 years with a crappy local economy they show up to games and dont make excuses.


Point was, any team can see an impact in ticket sales if their team is constantly losing. And no, Detroit fans didn't show up to games when they were losing. The Jags actually increased ticket sales while the team got worse. I think that is a good thing.


Khan and Lamping, as I pointed out, stated the fans were doing their part and that they have to do theirs which is to bring a competitive football team. I don't even think Jag fans are asking for a winning team at this point. Just a team that competes on the field.


I'll support the team regardless. I'm a die hard fan. But if we want to be realistic, with a population this size and a team who has been this bad for this long, we need the team to be better to sell more tickets. That's reality.
