Trump is a blow hard and I don't care for him as a person, at all, but he's no pushover and he says what he means. That's who you want in your corner when making these deals because the other party doesn't know how to bully that kind of personality and they're not sure how crazy he really is. Not ideal but we're not dealing with rational people in the Taliban.

The Taliban and the Ghani government were never going to come to any sort of power sharing agreement.   There was no way to force it to happen. Each said that was what they wanted when it suited them to say so, but neither meant it.

Don't reply to me. You have nothing to offer that doesn't come from Wikipedia or some other ridiculous "source".
