Trump is a blow hard and I don't care for him as a person, at all, but he's no pushover and he says what he means. That's who you want in your corner when making these deals because the other party doesn't know how to bully that kind of personality and they're not sure how crazy he really is. Not ideal but we're not dealing with rational people in the Taliban.

You're assuming Trump would've followed through with his plans. Trump was good at making promises. It's his follow through or lack thereof that caused many people to turn on him. I'm still waiting on a border wall that was supposed to be paid by Mexico and I'm also waiting for the bigger and better option to Obamacare that Trump promised. Weren't those the base of his campaign promises? I think so.
