Agreed. If you go back and read all the post on this board in the last decade, the majority of the posters have been right way more than the Jags' front office and coaches. I believe a lot of it is because the board doesn't have personal relationships with these people. Sometimes thinking someone is nice or that they are your friend, clouds your judgement about how well they are at their job. You tend to give them a way longer leash. That has happened over and over with the past GM and several coaches. The writing was on the wall, but they kept getting chance after chance. Then, when we finally have a chance to really make a real change, we keep part of the old regime (Baalke) and promote him to GM and the owner hires a HC with no professional experience, because he is friends with the guy. It doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure this stuff out. Any unbiased eye can see it and the O.G. posters on here are unbiased, because we aren't swayed by personal relationships. It's not that we are smarter than the owner, we just see things how they really are, because we aren't clouded by personal connections to people. It's pretty clear.

I think you have to keep in mind, when opinions on any particular topic are offered on this message board, you get 20 different opinions. It's not possible that we all agree, much less that we are all correct. One of us will be, because of the law of averages. You get 20 different opinions, one of them is bound to be correct. But that doesn't mean we are correct more than the front office. It just means that one of us had the correct opinion.

If you want to offer your opinion on a coaching hire, and you want to say a particular coaching hire is a bad hire, odds are you would be correct, because a great majority of NFL coaches fail and get fired. So to say, "they shouldn't have hired this guy" is a layup.
