That's not always true. I'd be willing to bet that 80% of this board was in agreement that Dave Caldwell should've been fired before the 2020 draft. The same goes for the firing of Doug Marrone. We were almost all in agreement that he was retained at least a year too long and don't even get me started on Todd Wash and George Warhop. There were continuous messages by many, many posters saying these guys had to be fired, yet they were retained. None of us had personal relationships with these people and it was very clear to us that they were not good at their jobs, given the situation. We knew they needed to go, but they were given way too many chances and it set this franchise back. Just go back and look how many people on this board were in agreement back then. It certainly wasn't just one person or even a handful. It was the majority.

Fans almost always turn on coaches and GMs before owners do.  So the fans are almost always right that the coach or GM should be fired, because most coaches and GMs get fired eventually.  For every single coach we've had, there has been a sizeable contingent of fans saying he ought to be fired.  It's the same with every team.  

But if you want to say the fans on this message board have been right about a variety of things more often than the coaches and GMs, for example whom we should draft or free agents we should hire, take a look back at mock drafts, or posts about an upcoming free agency period, and you can see there is never a unanimity of opinion.  So someone will always have a good pick in round 2 or round 3 or round 1, but most people will pick at least as many busts as the coaches and GMs do.  

So sure, one fan is always right.  Because there were 20 fans offering 20 different opinions and one happened to hit it right.  But you can't say "the fans" because there are no "the fans" when it comes to opinions about things.  Opinions are all over the map.
