No, but clearly one side or the other didn't want him here.

But, there in lies the confusion. If they didn't want Ekuale here, then why did they keep him on the original 53 instead of Costin? The only thing that makes sense is that Ekuale wanted out and didn't want to sign to the Jags PS.
