O-line and Marty. Y'all are both making good, even valid points. But as I see it, Kahn wasn't invested nearly enough for too long. Admittedly not knowing football well enough was a good honest disclosure on his part but he waited far too long to do anything about it. By the time he Did get involved deeply he brought in Coughlin and promptly backed off again, This proved costly and I feel he felt kinda trapped into having to keep Caldwell and Marrone. Ultimately this led to the chance to get Trevor and he realized he may never get better a chance to get both a franchise QB but also a big time coach. This necessitated dumping Marrone and Caldwell. Meyer's reputation, at least as a winning coach, is hard to top. Was he the right choice? Time will tell as NH3 (or is it Snowwolf?) likes to end his posts. As to Baalke, well, I am not his biggest fan either but he was a part of their success for at least a little while so I will reserve judgement for now. And while most fans wanted a total cleaning of the house, that is just not realistic. Look at the scouts that were retained initially. Most if not all have now been replaced. There is no such thing as an instant fix for a football operations on the scale of an NFL team and Kahn is, in the end, a very astute business man Give this revamped outfit some time is my take. I liked the hire of Meyer and the staff he has brought in has some serious street cred in my opinion. I also like the draft picks they took. Losing ETN hurts but that's football... next man up. I just know I am excited for the next chapter of Jaguars football and it is not all, well maybe mostly it is, because of Trevor.
