I think Meyer is just playing the same games as he did with Lawrence.

I know Wingard is disliked by most here but if he's starting it's because he's better than Cisco. 

There's no way internet posters can judge this better than a coach like Meyer. No way. I'm sorry if slowflakes don't like that but it's the truth. Some people here think way too highly of themselves.

it's not the ONLY reason possible, Meyer may also favor starting vets and working the rooks in gradually. I'm not going to call the season a waste because of who gets the nod in week 1.

Winger isn't the future and everyone knows it, coaching staff included. Give it time, it will work itself out. Pretty confident in saying that if we lose Sunday, that the loss won't be something that can be pinned squarely on Winger's back, we got holes all over.
