I honestly haven't seen an OT prospect this season that I would waste a first or second day pick on. This may be the worst group of OT's that I have seen in a long time. Evan Neal of Alabama is the best that I've seen by a long shot, but he has his own issues. The more I watch him, the more I see him lunging at defenders and getting off balance. I don't see him as a LT. Personally, I believe he would be better on the right side or even OG and I'm not sold on Little being our LT of the future. I haven't really scouted any true OG's yet, but I prefer to draft college OT's and play them at OG. That way you have more flexibility when injuries occur on the O-Line. I like my OT's to be able to play OG and vice versa. I just haven't seen any OT's I'd like as OG's either. Personally, I would address the O-Line via free agency and trades. I just don't have any confidence in what I'm seeing from the college OT's. |
