The hell, folks.

How many years have we spent complaining that we either get no recognition, or face uphill battles to overcome media bias? Finally get word that one of our guys is performing in the top 10 of his position group and the responses are

excuses and a call for his replacement
hesitancy to accept the ranking
dismissal based on team performance
dismissal of the ranking

Is it that bad that we have a guy showing that development might actually work? Or that we have TWO feasible options at a position? Good gravy.
