Changing the story or the characters does nothing but indoctrinate kids into thinking that the gay lifestyle is "normal".  It's not.  There are males and females for a reason.

I have no problem with people being gay if that's how they choose to live their life.  However, in the natural order of business heterosexuality is what makes everything continue whether it's human population or animal population.  Imagine if we had a herd of gay cows.  They would never reproduce and we would run out of beef.

Sounds like you associate heterosexuality with "normal" because of the ability to reproduce naturally. What about my sister who is heterosexual but couldn't reproduce without IVF? Maybe she's not normal under that definition. I'd disagree though.

Well I do associate heterosexuality with "normal".  After all, in the scheme of things sex exists to reproduce.  The "pleasure" aspect of it is purely a human "taught" thing.  In the case of a couple that can't reproduce without IVF, that's a problem that science did right (in my opinion) so that couples can still have children.

Much of my opinion is formed by watching/raising animals my whole life, especially in my younger years as well as now in my "seasoned" years.  Humans are just another animal.  When a female animal "comes in season" the instinct of the male animal is to mate.  This is solely to reproduce and is dictated by nature.  That is the sole reason for intercourse.  Humans got pleasure from it and took it to another level.

I somewhat agree that teaching kids that "gay couples are ok", but at what age?  Grade school when they haven't even figured out their own bodies?  Middle/high school when hormones start raging?  When is it right to expose children to this stuff and what is the appropriate way?  Is changing an iconic comic book the way just to push a point or a narrative?

Again, I don't care if someone chooses to live a gay lifestyle.  If they and their partner are happy then I am happy for them.  I refuse to have the gay lifestyle pushed on children as "normal" because it's not.
