Without being prudish here or wanting to be judgmental, neither participant's actions seem particularly commendable.

No.

Do I necessarily think one or both parties are innately bad people or evil?

No.

Just not a good look for either person.

My only point of contention here is some people obviously find that acceptable because it happens all the time.
