Trump was right that the border needs to be secure and we can't just let people cross with a pinkie promise that they'll show up for an asylum hearing later.

Trump was wrong to reduce the number of legal immigrants we allow. The labor market today clearly says we haven't been letting enough legal immigrants, especially low skilled ones, through for the past few years.

The low skilled Americans were convinced they are worth $15 an hour by your party and also paid to sit at home. The labor market issues you speak of don't exist for the reasons you think.
