Baalke deserves more credit than he has gotten.

Agnew was a good add. Griffin was a good add, but he also got paid very handsomely and he has no counterpart at CB.  I like Jenkins pretty well too but they are mishandling his counterpart at safety as well.

They [BLEEP] up and took a RB at 25 with a stud already on the roster.  They took 3 weeks to figure out they needed to use said stud to help the rookie QB and they still don't run him enough after 6 weeks.

They completely took a hot dump all over their handling of the TE position from day one until trading for a guy they could have just signed cheaply earlier.  Even now they'll need to spend a pick on another TE.

They've jockeyed around at LB and still don't have any guys they remotely can trust in coverage. They'd rather sell out to the run, play the safeties off and give up everything underneath all day long.

When you have the FA money they had, and the picks they had, to still be in very dire need at RT, TE, WR, ILB, EDGE, FS, CB ...  I don't know, man.
"Credit" is not what's on my mind for Baalke and Meyer.  I'm more in disdain mode. I think they could be further along in rebuilding than they are.

Yeah I mean pretty sure we all said Baalke was retained because Urbs was the de facto GM.

Baalke might deserve credit for the trades... But we didn't exactly get a bunch of good draft picks for CJ, Jones, Minshew....

Hell even Caldwell traded away crap and got draft picks a couple times. Doesn't mean much.

I'll reserve any sort of judgement on the roster building of these two schmucks until after another draft and FA period... But so far not really impressed to give any credit.
