Right now, they are a stumbling block, but they are only half of the big picture and they could steer from crapfest to "not horrible" by season's end.

I agree 100%. Khan is not gonna fire Urban/Baalke this season or probably next season, no matter how bad we finish. We could end the season 1-16 and they are still gonna be retained. That's just Khan's modus operandi and he's not not gonna admit he was wrong, just after declaring "he finally got it right", when he hired these two. If anything, he's gonna keep them around too long and set the team back another year or two. That's just what he does.
