The SEC had great defenses... Trent Richardson and Leonard Fournette ran straight through them.... (well, Leonard sucked versus Alabama)... 

You just really can't tell from College to Pros who is going to do well.... but... looking at JRob's highlights... he was doing things neither Trent nor Leonard could do. Makes you wonder why scouts get paid at all.

Just saying... I see nothing special about Etienne. He had the benefit of the best college QB of the decade to keep defenses honest.

Travis ETN vs Bama in the natty during the 18 season had 86 yards for 6.1 per tote and two tuds.
In 2019 he killed Ohio St as a runner and receiver. Even played well in their loss to LSU.
Looking at a lot of games, Clemson just wasn't a big run team so he actually didn't get a lot of carries most games.

I won't list all of his games cuz I'm lazy but against bad teams he gouged most of em for like 150 and multiple tuds.

Was he special? Yeah I dunno. I think special RBs are few and far between these days. Was he worthy of a late round first? Maybe.... To a team like the Pats, Steelers... Maybe even BUCS.

Just not a good pick for US. I feel like that gadget RB with speed could have been had in the 2nd or 3rd Rd.
