So you'd rather our coaches let Trevor hurl it deep 50 times a game and run Robinson 6 times like they "knew" in weeks one and two, or did fans know better than them? 

You'd rather the FS have zero chance of stopping a 1st down because he's 30 yards off the ball rather than backpedaling less so he might impact a pass play at some point this whole season?  Or do fans know better because they want the FS to play his actual position? 

Go watch the FS on a good defense. He doesn't line up 20 yards off and backpedal to 30. He lines up 10-12 yards off and backpedals to 20 while diagnosing the play and reacting to the ball in time to influence a completion, not in time to clean up the mess when the ball has long been caught. 
This stuff is pretty basic.
