On that part of the topic, Simmons should be traded some how. This guy isn't going to pla th for philly again. I'm not saying it's right or wrong, but it is what it is. Trade him for what you can get

Hard disagree, he's under contract (for the max no less) for 4 more years. He has no leverage, this is the Yan situation except if Yan was actually paid. if you're trading an all star to pair with Embiid-Harris then it either needs to be an all star player or a good enough 3rd option that will mesh well with them. I don't know that that's been offered.

If McCollum, some role players and 2 1sts were offered i'd take that as McCollum as a 3rd option who can really shoot and ball handle would mesh really well with Embiid-Harris. Or if they can get a 3 team trade with the Kings & Cavs to try and end up with Buddy Hield, a PG (Sexton or Garland) and then other picks or role players to fill it out. Those 2 trades would make the Sixers every bit the threat the Bucks, Nets & Heat are as it would help their spacing, shooting, and overall backcourt play.

But if they're being offered trash returns because other teams think they HAVE to trade him, i'd hold until a respectable offer is made just like the Jags did ignoring the 4th round picks until a 2nd was offered for Yan.
