Really? What's his motivation? He doesn't "need" this job. Maybe hes doing it for the love. Maybe give him a little benefit of the doubt. Always think about someone's motive and their resume.

A lot of coaches are motivated by proving they can. He's done it at the CFB level, and the next step was the shield. Money is very nice too, but I guarantee the trade-off of lost sleep over prep, travel, media commitments, etc are not worth it alone compared to his studio gig. This is all about proving to himself or others that he still got it.

oh yeah, and having TLaw guaranteed and a boatload of spending money didn't make the job any less attractive, either.
