Just proves that Teddy ran a short pass west coast offense known for making QB's look like they are great (USC QBs)
I know Johnny runs a spread but look at the chart, he threw most of his passes down field.

By this chart, Johnny threw a higher percentage of his passes behind the line of scrimmage than he did for 10-20 yards and 20+ yards. I know this is nitpicking, but you seriously are throwing things out there that have no basis in facts.
I'm not saying that Johnny will be a dud. What I think is that I hate it when people justify taking a guy early because "he's a play maker" or because "he finds ways to win". To me, that sounds like you're justifying his faults simply because of a highlight reel.
So lets look at facts instead.
Johnny: 6' (I round up because 3/4 inches is basically an inch depending on who's holding the measuring tape)
215 lbs. Basically the same size in everyday standards, but Teddy gets knocked for being "skinny".
Scrambling + straight line running ability, but doesn't show agility in the pocket. Bails way more than he should.
High highs, and low lows. But even his highest high wasn't enough to win the game.
Has more negative plays than he should because of running backwards
Throws more YOLO balls, where he was bailed out because of having one of the biggest receivers in college
Less accurate in throws less than 15 yards (which make up more than 70% of NFL throws)
Teddy: 6'2"
215 lbs. I don't care if he looks skinny to you. His frame hasn't cause him to be injured even with the beating he took from Florida.
Scrambling ability + ability to move around the pocket instead of break and run every time
High highs, but his lows were still higher than most
Hardly has negative plays because he will throw the ball away while on the run if nobody is open
Throws more receivers open and more calculated back shoulder throws
Extremely accurate on throws between 0 - 20 yards. Accuracy drops to about 3% lower than the other top QB's at 20+ yards. Negligible.
Makes more presnap reads than any other college QB the past 2 years, and routinely goes through all of his progressions.
Sells play action well, has played under center, and knows how to check into running plays
If I'm looking at these two guys objectively, I can see that they are both good playmakers. If you want to think of it another way, think of it like this: A big dunk by Dwight Howard may get the crowd going and be nice for ESPN, but it's only worth 2 points. Lebron's all around game from inside, midrange, 3 point shooting, and his assists is what wins the game.
Johnny is Howard. He'll wow you with a dunk every once in a while, but get him outside of the paint and he's uncomfortable as all hell. Teddy is more like LBJ. He has a complete game and can beat you a number of different ways.
Again, I'm not saying that Manziel can't progress into a more complete player. I'm just of the thought that it's more likely he doesn't.
That's why I want Teddy. He's a better QB now than any other QB, and he's already used to doing exactly what's going to be asked of him at the next level.
Sorry for the length. Ranted a little bit.
