While he can't control where he was picked, that he was picked in the Top 10 has earned him more criticism than if he were picked in the 2nd round. Of course we didn't have a 2nd rounder that year because Gene Smith thought it'd be a good idea to trade up in the 3rd round the year before! Alualu isn't terrible. But he's not good either. Even in the 2nd, he'd be a disappointment.
